Nancy Grace

Nancy Grace is Grace Classic Photography’s Business Manager, as well as a fundraising consultant (under the DBA Graceful Fundraising) to numerous non-profit organizations. She is also Schuyler Grace’s longtime friend and long-suffering wife, without whose support Grace Classic Photography would not exist.

A native of Des Moines, Nancy graduated from the University of Iowa and spent most of her career as the senior investor relations liaison for such corporations as Rolls-Royce, Charter Medical, and USAirways. But along the way, devotion to family and community naturally led Nancy to volunteer her skills in the non-profit world. She has not only been a Big Sister in the Big Brothers and Big Sisters organization, but also served on their board of directors, as well as the boards of Planned Parenthood and a political action fund.

Nancy made her move from corporate life into a fulltime career in non-profit fundraising when she joined the Phoenix Zoo as its Chief Longtime friend, long-suffering wife, and pack muleDevelopment Officer. There, she applied her financial acumen and communication abilities to enhancing the Zoo’s relationship with its donor community and increasing the Zoo’s profile among the Valley’s numerous non-profit agencies.

In 2005, Nancy made the decision to spread her skills among a wider array of non-profits and left the Zoo to start Graceful Fundraising. Armed with her corporate experience, donor relationships, and certification in non-profit management from Arizona State University, she began advising large and small non-profits in the art of effective fundraising and donor development.

Today, Nancy continues to build her company while advising and assisting in the running of Grace Classic Photography (currently, a non-tax-exempt non-profit). Between organizing fundraising events and building donor relationships for Graceful Fundraising’s clients, she can be found lugging camera equipment around the Arizona countryside, providing artistic inspiration, attending gallery openings, and cracking the whip over her photographer husband.
